Santiago Nasar es enterrado y los hermanos Vicario encarcelados a la espera de la llegada del juez de instrucción. La clase de Carmen: La tarea 13 abril 2022

A medida que comenzamos a leer el capítulo cuatro, encontramos que nuestro narrador ha avanzado la historia hasta los días posteriores al asesinato de Santiago Nasar. Y aunque el asesinato real no nos ha sido descrito, sabemos que fue brutal por la descripción muy grafico de la autopsia. Tanto que después de presenciar la autopsia desastrosa, el alcalde, "que había visto y causado tantas masacres", se hizo vegetariano y espiritista.
