Por este fin de semana, trabajaba el sábado y el domingo. Debía ir en el hospital los dos días para ver los pacientes y discutir los tratamientos. Después, domingo fuimos a Cavallo Point para cenar y quedarnos por la noche. Desafortunadamente, me enfermé en la madrugada, y no podría dormir. Debía ir al trabajo el mismo esta mañana, pero no me sentía bien, y me dejé verso las tres de la tarde.

Decidí mirar la televisión y las continuas inundaciones en Houston. Es una cosa casi increíble, pensar de la cantidad de agua que se esta cayenda, y que la tempestad copra una zona tan grande. Tengo una prima que vive afuera de Houston, no muy lejos de Lake Houston. Mi hermana me escribió que ella y su esposo están bien; que habían quitado su casa al comienzo del huracán.

No puedo imaginar cuanto tiempo se necesitara antes que las viviendas de la gente en Houston regresara al normal de nuevo. Fin ahora, esta todavía lloviendo.
