3 paradojas que les quitan el sueño a los matemáticos y filosofos

Ya que dejé el estudio de la filosofía en la universidad después de asistir a solamente dos clases y no tomé clases de matemáticas excepto un año de álgebra en la secundaria, al ver el título de este artículo, no tuve mucha esperanza de entender algo en español que nunca entendí en inglés.

Sin embargo, logré seguir más o menos la lógica de las dos primeras paradojas, pero la tercera me perdió.

Me divirtió con la explicación de la teoría de conjuntos por M Carmen Márquez García y entendí el acertijo que afrontaron el galerista y la artista cuando trataban de incluir las dos categorías de cuadros en la sala en una pintura para anunciar su exposición.

No obstante, no entiendo cómo esta ilustración de la paradoja de la teoría conecta al estudio de las matemáticas, ni siquiera porqué es importante a resolverla.
