Al leer este artículo, tenía curiosidad sobre la empresa llamada, en español, "La Parada de Autobús Comestible," fundado por Mark Gilchrist. Mark es parte de un movimiento en favor de mini parques o "parques de bolsillo." Como describe el sitio de web, La Parada de Autobús Comestible trata de convertir los espacios urbanos de "brutal hasta bonito" con "diseño creativo y participación de la comunidad." La idea es que cada espacio, no importa como pequeño, es una oportunidad para celebrar el mundo natural: conservar recursos y restaurar un enlace entre el urbano y el natural. Miré unos fotos en el web, y vi que los parques de bolsillo son completos con asientos, bancos, jardines, y caminos para explorarlos. Me parecen como algún tipo de utopía––hay perros y sol y la gente está siempre sonriendo. A la larga, pienso que es un buen recordatorio que, incluso en una ciudad, estamos en un planeta vivo.
