El cuento de Cenicienta es un cuento de hada. Lo decirnos que, si somos amable, trabajador y no nos quejamos, entonces, todos estará bien al final. El cuento de Cenicienta original va más lejos. Lo nos dice que, si somos cruel y egoísta, nuestras vidas estarán triste, solos y posiblemente trágicos.

Cuando Cenicienta se marcha del baile de prisa, ella perdió su zapato de cristal sobre de las escaleras del palacio. El príncipe visita la casa de las hermanastras feos y de Cenicienta durante su búsqueda por el dueño del zapato. Antes de que Cenicienta tenga la oportunidad sus hermanastras se lo probaron, pero sus pies son demasiado grandes. En el cuento original de los hermanos Grimm, una se corta su talón y el otro se corta su dedo del pie para intentar encajar en el zapato.

Estuvieron desesperados y fueron lisiados de por vida.
