Cuando viví en Chile, un asunto común para los gringos fue el consumo de agua del grifo. No queremos comprar botellas plásticas de agua por seis meses, pero algunas personas se enfermaron como resultado de bebiendo el agua del grifo.

A mí, no tuve problemas con el agua no filtrado en Chile después de dos semanas en el país. Bebía el agua del lavabo en el baño de mi universidad chilena, porque no hubo una fuente de agua y pensé que era un gran desperdicio comprar botella múltiples cada día. Sin embargo, cuando viajé a Perú tuve que comprar agua filtrada. Muchas personas me avisaron que el agua peruano tiene un mayor riesgo de contaminantes que el agua chileno.

El articulo me interesa porque parece que el agua cruda es de moda en países ricos como los Estados Unidos. Sin embargo, en otros países como Perú, el agua cruda puede ser un riesgo grave a la salud.
