No sabia que las mujeres indigenas de Bolivia se llamen cholitas. Me encantan su ropa, sus sombreros, su pelo trenzado y sobre todo su fuerza. Según un articulo que leí, las cholitas no pudieron estudiar en escuelas privadas, y para ir a la escuela pública debían vestirse en la manera occidental. Había una discriminación casi total contra ellas en el mundo del trabajo y en la vida pública. Nada más con la llegada de Evo Morales en 2006 a la presidencia de Bolivia, las cholitas empezaron tener más derechos y más respecto. Eso explique porque solían tener trabajos en sectores menos oficiales, como limpiar casas o vender comida en la calle. Tampoco no sabia nada sobre las cholitas luchadores. Aunque comenzó con la explotación de mujeres de pollera, hoy en día existen asociaciones de lucha fundadas por cholitas.
