Parece que el objetivo del video era hacer que los sistemas de votación fueran más confusos. Los dos primeros tipos de votación no se nombran, pero son elecciones de segunda vuelta y votación por orden de preferencia. Quizás la intención era mostrar que la forma existente de votar en un país no sea necesariamente la mejor. Desafortunadamente, las propuestas para adoptar la votación por orden de preferencia fallaron en Alaska y Massachucetts la semana pasada.

El video discutió distritos uninominales y plurinominales. Distritos plurinominals han sido el meta de CFER (Californians por Reforma Electoral) por decadas. Con distritos plurinominals, es posible tener representación para partidos pequeños, come el Partido Verde, y los independientes.

El video explico los sistemas de votar a fin de que podemos apoyar cambios en los sistemas de votar. Si yo fuera rey, adoptaría la votación por orden de preferencia y distritos plurinominals.
