Tarea de Michelle (3/2/16): Adiós al tránsito colapsado

Es la verdad que estaba esperando la tarea de Pablo para que pudiera completar la mía. Ahora que he visto cual artículo ha leído y su comentario sobre ello, sé que no puedo elaborar más sobre la tema de odiar la tecnología. Así, voy a hablar sobre el tráfico, otra cosa que odio.

En Los Ángeles, de dónde estoy, siempre hay tráfico en el autopista. Casi nunca puedes ir más de cuarenta millas por hora en el 405 entre las horas de 6:30-9:30 de la mañana y 4:45-8 de la tarde. Lo que me gusta, sin embargo, es que hay rutas que van por barrios residenciales dónde puedes evitar este tráfico terrible. En San Francisco, esto casi no existe. Sólo hay una calle buena que tiene semáforos cronometrados, Franklin, y aún Franklin no mueve durante las horas de prisa.

Peor todavía, no tengo un coche, así no tengo control sobre la velocidad en que estoy moviendo ni del estilo de conducir. No soy una conductora muy agresiva, pero si tengo prisa, puedo volver a serla. Y a veces es completamente necesario hacer una maniobra más agresiva que normal para evitar un accidente o quedarte seguro. Cuando siempre estoy viajando por otras—por Lyft, por Uber, o por Muni—no tengo la opción de hacer decisiones, que vuelve estar muy frustrante.

No tengo más que quiero decir ahora. Sé que esta novela ya está más larga que el ensayito de Pablo, pues esto es el fin. Agur.
