Event Description
The next Book Club workshop is coming up in October! This time, we will discuss Miguel Delibes's Los santos inocentes, or The Holy Innocents. The novel is about the decline of rural family at the mercy of rich landowners in western Spain during the 1960's. A film based on the book won two awards at the Cannes Film Festival in 1984. The author Delibes is well-known for his focus on the natural world in his writing.
The Book Club workshop will take place on both Friday, October 2nd, and Friday, October 9th, from 5:30-7 pm in the Fillmore office. Instructor Carmen will lead the discussion.
