Mi amigo me envió esta historia. Me gustó mucho, así que quiero compartirlo con la clase

Ella le preguntó: "¿A cuánto estás vendiendo los huevos?"
El viejo vendedor respondió: "$0,10 un huevo, señora".
Ella le dijo: "Cogeré 6 huevos por $0,50 o me iré".
El viejo vendedor respondió: "Ven y llévalos al precio que quieras".
Puede ser, este es un buen comienzo porque hoy no he podido vender ni un solo huevo.

Ella tomó los huevos y se fue sintiendo que había ganado. Se subió a su lujoso coche y se fue a un elegante restaurante con su amiga. Allí, ella y su amiga, pidieron lo que les gustaba.
Comieron un poco y dejaron mucho de lo que pidieron. Después ella fue a pagar la cuenta. La factura le costó $400. Ella dio $500 y le dijeron al dueño del restaurante que se quedara con el cambio.

Esto puede parecer bastante normal para el propietario pero, muy doloroso para el vendedor de huevos.

La cuestión es:
¿Por qué siempre demostramos que tenemos el poder cuando compramos a los necesitados? ¿Y por qué somos generosos con aquellos que ni siquiera necesitan nuestra generosidad?

Una vez leí en alguna parte:

"Mi padre solía comprar productos simples a los pobres a precios altos, aunque no los necesitaba. A veces solía pagarles más. Me preocupé por esto y le pregunté por qué lo hacía. Entonces mi padre respondió: "Es una caridad envuelta en dignidad, hija mía"
