El febrero pasado, Anna, mi familia, y yo viajamos en Cuba. Este país hace una vacación muy interesante. A primero, estuvimos en la Habana por unos días. Es una ciudad hermosa, con edificios añejos de las épocas colonial y Arte Deco. Después, viajamos por una semana en bicicleta a través de una parte de el país, para mirar otros ciudades y campos. Un lugar favorito fue Playa Girón, donde hay playas suaves y blancas y casi ningunos gentes (y también donde los americanos trataron de invadir en 1961). En cada parte del país, las personas que nosotros encontramos estuvieron muy simpáticas. Las imágenes de los Castros, Ché, y otros revolucionarios son por todos el país; la revolución comunista todavía está vivo ahí. Cuba es un país pobre. Vi algunas tiendas con casi nada para comprar. Pero de otra manera hay una igualdad: veo las personas más pobre aquí en San Francisco que aquellos en Cuba, y nadie es rico ahí. Entonces, la Cuba es un país pobre en dinero, pero rico en historia y cultura.
