Estoy de acuerdo con el artículo, que el cerebro puede ser muy plástico, y que tenemos la habilidad entrenarnos en maneras sorprendentes. Similar a jugadores de fútbol, a veces la gente que no tienen manos puedan aprender usar sus pies como manos. Por ejemplo, algunos pueden escribir o dibujar con sus pies. Tal vez la habilidad de usar los pies como manos sea una herencia de nuestra ascendencia de los primates. Primates son muy hábiles usando los pies, y puedan escalar arboles y colgarse de una rama solo con los pies. Otro ejemplo es personas ciegas, que pueden aprender sentirse sus circundantes sin la capacidad de ver.
