Era súper interesante seguir el origen del color rojo––y sus varios nombres––y como su importancia social y ecológica contribuyó a su historia etimológica. No me sorprende que el significado del color rojo tenga raíces en los origenes de la humanidad y nuestra tradición como recolectores. Es verdad que este color me llama más la atención. Como siempre decía mi madre: si tengas un coche rojo, no puedes conducir muy rápido porque la policía te verá!

Al mismo tiempo, hay que recordar que el color rojo puede significar algo malo tambien. En naturaleza por ejemplo, es posible que las frutas de bosque rojas sean jugosas y nutritivas, pero tambien puedan ser tóxicas. Y ojalá que no encuentres una rana o un serpiente roja! Si estuvieras caminando por una selva y vieras un animal con coloración vibrante––rojo especialmente––te aconsejaría a irte muy rápido. Usualmente, los animales más bellos son más venenosos!
