La última vez que celebramos a mi madre por el Día de la Madre fue en 2017, cuando toda la familia todavía estuvo en Líbano. Fue el 21 de marzo, cuando comienza la primavera. Decidimos reunirnos en un restaurante debajo de la oficina de mi madre, donde mis padres solían encontrarse durante la Guerra Civil. Mi hermano llegó tarde, como siempre, excepto que trajo el ramo de flores más grande. Entró detrás de mi madre para sorprenderla, ella estuvo muy feliz.
