Viví en el estado de Georgia por 10 años. Mi familia nos mudamos porque mi padre tuvo un trabajo en Savannah. Viajamos de California, donde nací, a Georgia por tren. Tuve 5 años de edad. Para mi, el viaje fue una experiencia mágica. Me dormí en una ciudad y cuando me desperté, vi por la ventana el desierto, con cactos y piedra roja. Antes de este momento, solo ví el desierto en libros. Durante el viaje, imaginé como va a ser mi escuela nueva y nuestra nueva casa en Georgia.
