Event Description
SF Spanish's latest Spanish Book Club novel is El capitán Alatriste. This is a recent work of fiction by author and former correspondent Arturo Pérez-Reverte. Set in 17th century Spain, the book is about Diego Alatriste and Italian mercenary Gualterio Malatesta, who have been hired to kill two Englishmen during the Eighty Years' War. (And, yes, there is a swashbuckling movie based on the novel starring Viggo Mortensen.)
