Es irónico que un grupo intentando ahuyentar supersticiones causó la más grande superstición de todo tiempo. Como todas las supersticiones, es arbitrario. La fecha en España y Hispanoamérica es martes 13, y leí que en Italia es viernes 17.

Hay otras teorias. La ultima cena de Jesus y los 12 apóstoles era 13, y Jesus murió la siguente día, un viernes. Recuerdo que en la pelicula El Codigo de DaVinci, Tom Hanks describió como en viernes 13 en octubre 1307 muchos caballeros templares fueron asesinados.

Es común que edificios no tienen un piso 13. Yo pensé que eso era muy extraño la primera vez que vi eso en un ascensor. Hay muchos ejemplos de mala suerte asociado co el número 13, pero espero que hay el mismo número con otros números. Tom Hanks, en la pelicula Apollo 13, probable deseaba que NASA hubiera usado otro número para su nave espacial.
