Cuando se trata de comer alimentos picantes, soy una blandengue. Si un camarero me pregunta que tan picante quiero mi comida, digo suave.

En el articulo el escritor escribe que cada persona consumo en promedio casi 5 kgs (once libras) cada ano. Esta cantidad me sorprende porque mi esposo y yo consumimos menos de media libra cada ano. Me sorprende que en el pais de Turquia la gente consume mas alta de chiles. No asocia la comida turca con el picante. Otras fuentes dicen que Mexico y Tailandia consumen mas del mundo. Estoy de acuerdo.

Creo que las teorias para explicar porque los humanos les gusta el picante fue interesante. Hoy en dia la gente en algunas paises probablamente usar chiles para ocultar el sabor de alimentos podridos.

Y la teoria se conoce como "riesgo restringido" que asocia a comer chiles debido al mismo impulso de busqueda de emociones fuertes tal vez es corecta. No me gustan los chiles, y no me gustan las montanas rusa ni hacer paracaidismo.
