Mi tarea para el 20 de septiembre - Esteban

La semana pasada viajé a New York para el Festival de la Nueva Música de Trompeta. Es la organización sin fines de lucre de mi hermano. Por tres anos le ayudé con las solicitaciones para dineros y también la administración. La misión de la organización es dar a los jóvenes trompetistas la oportunidad de jugar con jugadores más experimentados y también para comisionar nueva música para la trompeta. Es el decimoquinto aniversario del festival. Fui a los shows el viernes, el sábado, y el domingo en la noche. El viernes, hubo dos bandas - High and Mighty Brass Band y Slavic Soul Party. Ambos fueron de alta energía y mucha diversión. Cada tuvó algunas trompetas y también trombones, saxofones, y una tuba. En ambas bandas, l líder tocaba el tambor. A mi me gustó mucho. El sábado, mi hermano dirige un grupo de cinco trompetistas. Fue una cosa única para el Festival. Las trompetistas tocaron en Festivals pasado. Estuvo muy emocionante. El domingo hubo un panel de oradores - mi hermano, dos trompetistas y un periodista. El panel fue sobre un trompetista Charles Tolliver, a quien le dimos un premio. También él fue en el panel. El lunes, fui a Massachusetts a visitar a mi cunada. Adios New York!
