La parte de este artículo que más me interesó fue los últimos párrafos, donde se discute los enlaces entre nuestra evolución y las adicciones al azúcar y alcohol. Normalmente pienso en el azúcar y el alcohol como sustancias artificiales, y en la obesidad y el alcoholismo como consecuencias de nuestra sociedad actual. Es interesante que la mayor capacidad de metabolizar el etanol fue una ventaja para nuestros antepasados, pero ahora puede dañar nuestra salud.

Personalmente, parece que no metabolismo el alcohol tan bien como solía hacerlo. Cuando estaba en la universidad, podía tomar casi cualquier cantidad y sentirme bien al día siguiente. Ahora, tengo caña después de solo dos o tres bebidas!
