Mi madre (M): Lynda, ven aquí y pon la mesa. Comimos apenas llega tu padre.
Yo (L): No pueda! Tengo ya más tarea. Diselo a Donna.
M: Tu hermana es afuera. Ve a llamarla.
L: Estoy al telefono. Pedas a Donald.
M: Tu hermano esta cortando el césped. No me hagas decirtelo de nuevo.
L: Papa no llegue por otra media hora. Permettas que termino la tarea.
M: En el tiempo que estas a lamentar, habrías ya puesto todas sobre la mesa.
L: Basta! Vengo en diez minutos.
M: No abras más la boca. Hagas lo que te dijo.
L: No estes justo! Porque devo siempre yo poner la mesa.
M: Porque telodi yo!
