Vivi en Italia de 1978 hasta 1980.  Las primeras tres meses, vive en Perugia.   Perugia es una ciudad en Umbria, una de las ciudades anticas del época Etrusca.  Estan cavernas deja de la nueva ciudad de Perugia, que fueron refugios para los Papas durante La Epoca Mediovale.  Yo atendí la Universidad para Extranjeros allí, donde enseñan italiano sin tradución usando un método que combina modas visuales con modas escribadas. 

Depués, me mudó a Roma.  Vivi en un colegio por 3 años.  Me gustaba muchissimo vivir en Roma.  Es una ciudad maravillosa.  Estan las antiquidades romanas, las pinturas en las iglesias, la arquitectura, los museos viejos y enormes, come el museo vaticano – es imposible ver todo en un unico dia! Mi novio al hora era un estudiante de arquitectura, y conosceba mucho de la historia de Roma.  Pero, aquel que me gustaba mas en Roma era de caminar en los barrios diversos, y mirar la gente, las parques, los edificios – toda muy Romana.
