Tarea de Pablo, Clase de Romina (Elena) 18 marzo 2020 – Laura Bassi, la primera científica profesional de la historia

El título dice que Laura Bassi era la primera científica profesional de la historia, pero el artículo dice que ella era la segunda. Elena Cornaro Piscopia era la primera, 54 años antes.

 

Laura Bassi era muy joven cuando recibió su doctorado – 21 años.  Pero, supongo que en esos días, la expectativa de vida era corta, alredador 40 años. ¡Los estudiantes necesitaban aprender rapido!

 

Parece que ello habia vencido los prejuicios del tiempo en parte porque el arzobispo de Bolonia, Prospero Lambertini, futuro papa Benedicto XIV, quedó tan encantado con su inteligencia. ¡Un Papa buena!

 

Era interesante leer sobre el paraíso de las mujeres. Siempre pensé que el paraíso estaba in la Tierra. Y parece que el paraíso es relativo – solamente mejor que otros lugares, no perfecto.
