No sabía que los amarillos que están en los cuadros de Van Gogh estuvieron más brillantes en la época cuando los pintó. Pero eso explica por qué cuando fui al museo Van Gogh de Amsterdam las galerías eran muy oscuras y sin ventanas. Es para ralentizar el oscurecimiento de los pigmentos. Lo que me sorprendió aún más fue la relación con la toma de digital a su afinidad por el amarillo. ¿Cómo lo saben? Quizás que a él le encantaba el amarillo y la historia no va más allá. Igual para el hipótesis de glaucoma. Es un poco como si redujeran las elecciones artísticas a casualidades médicas. Al hacerlo, quitan la magia de la manera en que Van Gogh veía el mundo.
