Violencia en Nigeria despues la elección
Despues de la reelección del presidente en Nigeria en abril, estalló la violencia y al menos diaz personas murieron y 200 resultaron heridas. El presidente Goodluck Jonathan fue reelegido con un amplio margen sobre el ex dictador militar Muhammadu Buhari. Después del anuncio, violencia estalló en muchas ciudades con enfrentamientos entre militantes y policías que dejaron cerca de 15 mil desplazados. Iglesias, mezquitas y casas fueron encendiadas. Jonathan recibió cerca de 23 millones de votas contra un poco más de 12 millones por Buhari. Los observadores habían calificado las elecciones como transparentes y correctas. Recientemente Buhari ha concedido la elección y condenó la violencia. Sin embargo, los analistas temen que la elección podría aumentar conflictos étnicos y religiosos en el país más poblado en África.
