Tengo que admitir que nunca he pensado en las problemas de minería, mucho menos la minería en Argentina. La conservación de los recursos naturales es importante en todos partes, pero en este caso, las decisiones del gobierno local robarán la gente de una de las cosas más importantes para vivir: el agua. Quería leer más sobre como la minería ha afectado la economía en la región. Parece que la minería hoy en día es muy diferente de las minas con muchos trabajadores locales del pasado.

También fue interesante leer como la tecnología ha ayudado a la resistencia. El Internet es un medio poderoso para la difusión de ideas y aún en Famatina, un pueblo de solamente casi siete mil personas, parece que la gente han usado el Internet para informarse sobre el desarrollo de la minería en la provincia.
