Yo pienso que la situación ahora en Siria es verdaderamente una violación horrible de los derechos humanos.

 

Recientemente en muchos países en el Oriente Medio, la gente ha reclamado cambios en sus gobiernos especialmente después la disposición de Mubarak en Egipto.  Es como un efecto dominó.  El gobierno sirio, por supuesto niega la versión de la represión de las organizaciones de derechos humanos.  Si la gente tiene más libertades democráticas que le quiere, el gobierno pederá su potencia.

 

Los  países que votaron en las Naciones Unidos en contra de una misión para investigar las violaciones tienen gobiernos que históricamente no han exhibido plusmarcas buenas de derechos humanos.  No es una sorpresa que votaron contra la misión.

 

Ahora la situación en Siria es horrible. Después la misión de las Naciones Unidos, no se será en futuro próximo por este país.  Yo me siento que la gente merece libertad…la libertad de palabra, la libertad de imprenta y la libertad que reclamar cambios en su gobierno y su sociedad sin reprimidas y sin miedo.
