En Estados Unidos, incluso en California, algunos pájaros frugívoros se embriagan en el otoño después de comer bayas fermentadas. Ellos se caen de árboles y chocan con ventajas cuando volando borrachos.

Me pregunto que llego primero para los humanos – aprender cómo hacer fuego, o cómo hacer cerveza. Posible la razón por la que nuestros antepasados tardaron millones de años en evolucionar porque estaban borrachos todo el tiempo.

También me pregunto si los alcohólicos tienen más de los genes para metabolizar alcohol, y por esa razón tienen más ganas de beber alcohol.

El artículo dijo que etanol es nocivo para las bacterias. Quizás eso es la razón por la que se ponen alcohol en las heridas en las películas – es la forma más antigua de esterilizar.
