Ayer, muchos de los grupos de senderismo en MT TAM se reunieron para su almuerzo anual de vacaciones potluck. Pero la vacación que estábamos celebrando no era Navidad o Janucá, pero el solsticio de invierno. Aunque el mañana es el solsticio, elegimos el miércoles para la fiesta para que todos pudieran asistir.

Dado que el solsticio es sobre el regreso del sol, esperábamos que hubiera brillado para nuestra fiesta. Desafortunadamente, había niebla y viento en su lugar. Debido al clima, era necesario que nos vistiéramos calurosamente. También, nuestra fiesta fue en el The Mountain Theatre, un anfiteatro al aire libre en Mt Tam.

Como iba a haber mucha comida, todos estaban felices de que tuvieras que caminar a la fiesta. Y la fiesta fue realmente divertida. Además de la comida, hubo canciones y poemas sobre el "solsticio" y la oportunidad de conocer viejos amigos.
