Un Cuento Corto Sobre un Tortuga

Soy un tortuga de desierto de Mojave. Tengo cincuento y uno años o cincuenta y dos años. Me olvido vesas. Penso que yo naci en el mil novecientos sesenta y seis.

Vivo en el abanico aluvial del Cañon del Búho. Paso mi tiempo en una madriguera con muchas otros animales. Mi favorito de los animales son los antilope ardillas. Ellos son un grupo siempre locuazo y llegan a la madriguera con el olor de higos chumbos.

El desierto hay mucho calor asi que la mayoria de las veces yo sueño. Muchas tortugas sueñan sobre plantas carnosas y flores salvajes pero yo sueño sobre otro cosas. A veces tengo un sueño que crezco un gigante. Yo camino por todo el mundo en uno dia. Veo muchas personas, animales, montañas, y aguas. Yo descrubro tanto y hay mas que ver. Ahora admito el desierto hay demasiado calor para mi. Ahora espero soñar sobre la agua, mucha agua.
