No sabía que los fines de semana de 48 horas empezaron solamente en los años 1930.  Me parece imprescindible hoy en día que tomar dos días completos para descansar, hacer deporte, hacer los quehaceres y ver a los amigos o a la familia. Y para dormir, aún más importante. Nos semanas laborales se convirtieron en maratones—o mejor, en sprintes de 120 horas—tiempo durante el cuál se supone que tenemos la máxima rutina de mañana, el máximo día del trabajo con la productividad 100%, la máxima cena preparada a mano, saludable y instagrammable, sin olvidar la rutina máxima de noche para bien anticipar el día siguiente. ¡Es agotador! Los fines de semana pueden servir para recordar nuestra identidad fuera la rueda del hámster.
