‘Lo que el agua me dio’ es un pintura al óleo por Frida Kahlo, que completó en 1938. En esta pintura Frida misma pintó (piernas y pies) en una bañera de agua gris. En el agua son los reflejos de su vida, ambos personal y influyente.

En mi bañera de agua es verde y yo tengo los dulces que mi padre nos dio hijos cada el Día de San Valentín. Una caja de dulces en forma de corazónes que tuvo palabras amor tonto escribir en ellos. Más que los dulces, a mi me gusta que mi papá nos dio (hijos y mamá) su atención.

Yo veo un nota que flotante en mi bañera. La palabras de esta nota son muy cariñoso y pensativo. Esta nota estuvo me escribió hace 30 años cuando yo estuve solo y embarazada. De vez en cuando yo recuerdo a sacarlo y leerlo. Lo siempre me hace a sentir feliz.
