Me encanta leer esta historia sobre este hombre excéntrico quien recuperó el poder de un pueblo en un momento de declive. Aunque él parece un poco controversial, no hay duda de que tenía una influencia grande en la historia de Hay-on-Wye. Busqué imágenes en Google de este pueblo y es muy pintoresco pero la atracción primaria es la historia de Richard Booth y su conexión con los libros. El festival de Hay ahora es muy conocido y sirve como un intercambio de ideas culturales en diferentes lugares en el mundo. Es increíble pensar que esta persona excéntrica podía crear una identidad por un pueblo e influía un movimiento cultural.
