No me sorprende que la inteligencia artificial y su algoritmos son discriminatorios. Son hechos por los seres humanos, y tristemente la humanidad todavía tiene actitudes discriminatorias. Frecuentemente hoy en día, son sutiles o incluso inconscientes. Por ejemplo, es posible que los ingenieros de Spotify no tengan un un odio consciente hacia las artistas femeninas, pero de todos modos sus prejuicios inconscientes se introducen en su programación.

En mi compañía previa, todos los empleados que participan en las entrevistas recibieron un entrenamiento sobre los prejuicios inconscientes y como mitigarlos. Quizás los ingenieros de la inteligencia artificial y el aprendizaje automático necesiten este entrenamiento también!
