Un año después

Después del maremoto, me parece que el mundo casi se ha olvidado sobre Japón. El progreso hacia la recuperación ha reaparecido en las noticias esta semana con el aniversario del desastre. No puedo imaginar la vida de los japoneses desplazados, esperando sus indemnizaciones de una empresa muy grande. Creo que centrales nucleares están aquí para quedarse y necesitamos establecer reglas universales para que evitemos un desastre global. En una manera triste, los japoneses tuvieron suerte. La radiación contenida en un central nuclear puede hacer mucho más daño de que lo ha hecho en Japón. Es horrible que necesitemos desastres como eso para mostrar las deficiencias en responsabilidad y seguridad de algunas empresas.
