Me encanta la ceremonia del brindis. Como dice en el artículo, hay diferentes prácticas por todo el mundo. Por eso, el brindis me hace pensar en mis viajes previos a lugares donde participé en un brindis muy memorable. Por ejemplo, en 2018 pasé el día de San Patricio en Irlanda donde hicimos muchos brindis con Guinness y la frase “Slainte!”. También tengo una memoria de Chile cuando fui a un tour a pie en Santiago. Hice dos amigos y fuimos después del tour a tomar un “terremoto” (una bebida dulce con vino y helado) y marcamos el momento con un “Salud!”. Finalmente, estoy rememorando mi tiempo en Madrid donde estudié por un semestre durante la universidad. Mi nueva amiga española me llevó a un bar típico donde se vende ginebra y tónicas del tamaño de un contenedor de sopa. Allí ella me enseño unos brindis tipicos (un poco inapropiados para esta conversación..). Cada vez que viajo a otro país, espero que aprenda otro brindis.
