Pienso que los detalles específicos de Google y la compra de Motorola Mobilty serán secretos. ¿Google guardará la promesa de mantener un sistema de código abierto que Android tiene? No creo que Google imitará la estrategia de Apple. Si imitan la estrategia de Apple, enajenarán otros fabricantes de teléfono que usar software de Android. Parece que podemos saber solamente con tiempo.

Con la compra de Motorola, Google tendrá ciertamente una mejor posición en la guerra de patentes. Esperanzadamente la fortificación de la cartera de patentes permitirá que la compañía pase más dinero en el desarrollo de nuevos dispositivos móviles algo que en pleitos de la patente.

La compra de Motorola hará Google más competitivo. No hay duda que los accionistas beneficiarán. Espero que los consumidores puedan beneficiarse también con más innovación y precios bajos.
