La seda de mar

No pienso que he visto algo hecho de hilo de la seda del mar excepto en las fotos. He visto una foto de una vestidura del Santo Ives que está bordado con biso y podia ver que es una tela muy bella que parece brocado del oro, pero se dicen que esta tela es mucho más ligera.

Es un respiro saber que hoy en día haya pocas personas que estan recolectando la materia prima, porque el fuente del hilo es el Pinna Nobilis que es un especies en peligro de extinction. Me alegro de leer que la mujer en este artículo tenga tanta respeto por su recurso natural y que las fábricas que intentaron hacer una industria de este material fracasaran.
