Estoy muy emocionado y nervioso hoy porque es el día de las elecciones de medio término. Estas elecciones son muy importantes porque pueden equilibrar el poder en Washington. Desde 2016, el partido republicano ha sido la mayoría en los dos cámaras del Congreso. Entonces, ha sido muy difícil proteger los derechos de unos grupos como los inmigrantes. Parece que, gracias al trabajo de muchos voluntarios y activistas, los demócratas pueden ganar la Cámara de Representantes al menos.

Estoy agradecido que tengamos la oportunidad de votar por nuestros representantes y sobre los cuestiones que afectan nuestra ciudad y estado. Espero que haya mucho más participación esta vez que en 2016. Es solamente por nuestra participación que podemos cambiar el curso del país.
