Ahora hay un enorme incendio forestal en el norte de California. Según las noticias, es el incendio más mortal en la historia del estado, con 42 fallecidos. El incendio es tan grande que podemos ver el humo en San Francisco. Da miedo que sea tan difícil extinguir un incendio de este tamaño. Parece que crece a la misma velocidad que los bomberos lo apaga.

La semana pasada, el presidente Trump dijo en Twitter que este incendio solo se debe a la mala administración forestal. Pero no creo que el cambio climático no lo afecte. Desde las 80s, los incendios forestales han sido mucho más frecuentes que antes. Este aumento ha tenido costos sociales, emocionales, y económicos. Es muy importante que prestemos atención al cambio climático porque si no hacemos nada, habrá muchos más incendios y otros desastres naturales.
