Me parece que sea increíble que David Mandal pagó US$ 200,000 para reservar un viaje en Space Ship Two. Eso es un montón de dinero pero es menos que algunos coches de Ferrari. Definitivamente es menos que muchos veleros. Además, Mendal tendría que pagar para el garaje y el mecánico o el puerto pequeño y la tripulación. Mendal probablemente piensa que ahorró dinero.
   
Sin embargo el problema es que Mendal tomará solo uno viaje en Space Ship Two en vez de muchos viajes en un coche o barco. Y el viaje en Space Ship Two pasa en sólo casi dos y media horas. Por eso el viaje es como una atracción en un parque de atracciones. En realidad él pagó US$ 1333 por minuto, lo cual es sorprendente. ¿Cuales cosas que podemos hacer que cuestan más de US$1000 por minuto? En el parque de atracciones, un viaje de la montaña rusa por tres minutos es no más de US$5 por minuto. Si se toma la montaña rusa por dos horas y media, cuesta menos de US$1000. Creo que Mendal pagó $US 1000 por el viaje y pagó $US 199,000 por el sello de vuelo espacial en su pasaporte. Por eso, el precio del sello es "fuera de este mundo."
