Puede uno Olvidarse del idioma materno

Este artículo hace una pregunta muy interesante sobre la psicología y la lengua: puede uno olvidarse del idioma materno?  Lógicamente, diría que la respuesta es no - es imposible!  Tu idioma materno es tan pegado en tu mente - todos tus pensamientos, emociones y deseos existen en la forma de la lengua.  Si, es verdad que si alguien deja de usar su idioma materno, puede olvidar unas palabras y ser un poco menos fluente.  Pero, no puedo creer que si alguien  no use su idioma materno por cinco años, va a olvidar toda la lengua.  Creo que el soldado en cuestión, Bowe Bergdal, probablemente ya tuvo un problema psicológico que contribuye a su problema actual.  Leo sobre la historia en Wikipedia, y hay mucho más de la historia que tiene en este artículo.  Por ejemplo, es posible que Bergdahl desertó del ejército.  Quizas, el quise dejar de usar ingles porque el fue tan desilusionado de su país.
