Cineastas del mundo que qioeren llevarse un Oscar

Solamente he visto una de las cintas en este grupo y ésta fue el cortometraje, "Ave Maria" de Cisjordania. La vi en el grupo de cortometrajes de acción viva que se mostraron en el cine en el centro del Embarcadero.

Había cinco películas en esta categoría y sin duda ésta fue mi favorita. Tristemente, no ganó el Oscar, pero si yo hubiera podido votado, habría votado por esta cinta. Es una joya.

El cineasta nos dice en este artículo que él quiería hacer una película que manifestara el costado humano de las personas que tienen creencias diferentes y practican reglas estrictas de sus religiones distintas.

Creo que el logró estupendamente su meta y lo hizo con respeto y humor.

Para mí, esta cinta debía sido la ganadora en vez de "El tartamudeo" que es una cinta excelente, pero no es tan significativa al mundo actual.
