Forster no solo predijo la tecnologia, pero tambien los efectos de la tecnología en la gente. Su descripción de personas intercambiando ideas a traves de la máquina, para sus solo actividad, parece similar al uso de Facebook hoy en día. Muchas personas estan adictos de Facebook, como si fuera un dios.
Otro descripción presciente era las personas viviendo en celdas individuales, sin contacto físico. Eso no es tan presciente como la descripción de las personas preferiendo contacto solamente a traves de la máquina. Muchas personas hoy en día no se como tener una conversación vivo, en vez de una conversación de texto.
Es posible que el futuro vaya ser más como el libro. Con realidad virtual, personas puedan tener experiencias no posible en la vida real. ¡No puedo esperar hacer paracaidismo de caida libre y otros experiencias! ¡Podria ser joven otro vez, y tener mucho fuerzo y tambien ser muy guapo con una cabeza lleno de pelo!
