Todos queremos ser felices y la mayoría de la gente estaría de acuerdo que todo el mundo tiene derecho a ser feliz. Por supuesto, para ser feliz es una experiencia muy subjetivo y cada uno de nosotros define la felicidad en nuestra manera.  Estoy de acuerdo con Sr. Ricard que la felicidad no es "una sucesión interminable de sensaciones placenteras."

Ingeniería de nuestras vidas para simplemente evitar cosas desagradable no es el camino a la felicidad y ni siquiera posible.

 

Para mí para ser feliz es una manera de ser en que se siente contenta y no en conflicto con la vida. Requiere a creencia que todos son dignos de encuentran sus propias felicidades.  

 

En el libro, "El Arte de la Felicidad", el Dalai Lama sugiere que el propósito mismo de la vida es buscar la felicidad. Dice que si usted cree o no la religión, todos estan buscando algo mejor en la vida. Como Sr Ricard, el Dalai Lama dice que la felicidad es posible por entrenar el intelecto, el mente y el corazón. Si el entrenamiento de la mente puede mejorar nuestra perspectiva de la vida, entonces me parece una actividad positiva.
